@herofromthedark actually im up 2 date on my one piece and i watched that fight on youtube with no flashs and no amv bs on it lol and i agree that by far was the best battle and 2 me that was his toughest opponent but wait till you see luffy vs everybody in marineford…..luffy vs lucci could be compared naruto vs 6 bodies of pain and naruto vs god pain was CRAZY
No, it’s not for any of the above reasons- instead, his reason for saving her, is because “I owe her.”
I can’t believe it! Basically, the reason why he’s fighting and risking his life to save her, is for not other reason than obligation!
And more than that… making a virtue of necessity or obligation, is NOT a virtue.
That’s not the ONLY thing Ichigo has done like that, but it IS the most obvious one to me. Honestly, when I look at him, and hear him talk, all I can hear is a dick!
@subscribe1995 I suppose, but I still don’t like Ichigo as a character. If he wasn’t the main character, then Bleach would be one of my favorite shows.
There’s also a part of the show when he’s asked why he’s trying to save rukia. His response?
It’s NOT because saving the life of a fellow human being is the right thing to do
It’s NOT because he has personal ties to her
it’s NOT because she’s one of his best friends (if not girlfriend)
it’s NOT because it was his fault she was sentenced
@nyckidd18 Hah! XD True- as much as I love naruto, those damn flashbacks are a real pain in the backside… The fights from One Piece ARE good though. Check out Luffy vs Lucci. That’s probably the best fight to date… or rather, the best fight I’ve seen.
@herofromthedark lol bunch of dictators then arent they lol the fight scenes need 2 take a page from naruto…..just without all the damn flashbacks and cuts to talking -_-
@herofromthedark stil in bleach if you take out the cliche and see the character development of ichigo it is kind of exciting to see what is going to happen with his inner hollow ( like naruto with nine tailed fox ) but still the backstory of ichigo isn’t something new and as you said before it is cliche. This doesn’t mean that i don’t like bleach just the opposite
@subscribe1995 Indeed! Bleach has poor character development at times. Sometimes the char development is good……… SOMETIMES. Chad and Uryu had good backstories, but Ichigo’s story was SOOOOO bland and cliche, I could hardly bare it!

In naruto, they focus more on the darker aspects of people, and how cruel people can be in society to outcasts. And worse still, is that the outcasts had no control over the tragedies that befell them…
True. Sometimes, the story is really good, but when you put the straw hats in, it really makes it odd. For example- Alabasta is on the verge of a revolution to overthrow the monarchy and turn into a democracy. The straw hats are there trying to make everything “right.” But really, they’re only doing it for Vivi because she’s their friend. So while this revolution is going on, Luffy is just interfering with ACTUAL POLITICS that would develop a nation, for no other reason than because he wants to.

@DudeImDaniel Yeah, trust me- Naruto is better than One Piece. I could go on a huge, long, fan rant about it, but suffice it to say that it’s just a waste of time. I’d rather spend my time seeing actual CHARATER development.

@DudeImDaniel Well, realistically, no, there aren’t any REAL good pirates- they’re all bad or evil.
But TV and movies are filled with “good” pirates. PotC for example. There’s also the anime “one piece” whose main cast is nothing but pirates, who for some reason think that pirates aren’t murderers and thieves, but people who like to “follow their dreams”! XD how silly…

@DudeImDaniel Ooh! That sounds awesome! Though, I normally prefer consoles to PCs, but I like the graphic capacities of PCs.
BTW, what would you try first? Legendary, or dreaded? I know I’m gonna be Dreaded for sure!! Whupin’ ass with an anchor… you know you’re F’d when you see a guy lugging around an anchor and uses that as his main weapon! XD
