Using Twitter – Dealing with Spammers


On Twitter, just as all technologies, there are spammers. Spam is not new to Social Media, even though though new media allows, through interaction from their audience, a unique opportunity for spammers present itself. Twitter has an effective process for dealing with spammers.

  3. Why not just unfollow. Simple. And no chance that you’re reporting someone as a spammer when they may just be “scially clumsy”

    I always block the person and then DM @spam. You can spot the worst kind of spammer a mile away — following 13,487 people, has 87 followers, and has posted two tweets.
